Doosan's forklift history
Korea’s original home-based lift truck market was an open-import enterprise. In the 1960’s, Korea Machinery Co. Ltd. begun to import assembled forklifts as part of a national machinery expansion venture. Initial product sales of this manufacturing equipment focused on large business groups, the armed services and on state-run corporations. This eventually led to a merger with Daewoo Heavy Industries Ltd. In 1976, the Forklift Division commenced business operations throughout Korea to overhaul and sell this heavy equipment. By 1978, a forklift production plant was successfully completed. Continuous technical training became the new focus for enhancing quality and product development.
Propane lift truck efficiency is pretty remarkable for the reason that the cylinders containing propane can simply be replaced and the equipment could get back to work without losing much "downtime". It is unlike the electric forklift where spare batteries have to be acquired to be utilized while the original battery could take up to 8 hours of cooling time and 8 hours of charging time depending on the model.
Safety
In view of the fact that the fuel system of the propane forklift is sealed; it is far safer to work than different models of lift truck. The fuel cylinders are sealed to guarantee optimum safety and should adhere to strict national code specialization. Propane gas also works with less energy compared to CNG gas, hence, if any mishap occurs, there is a system where the fuel is shut off. This greatly lessens the possible danger and destruction which can occur. Refilling options are also beneficial for the operator. If they will rather refuel elsewhere, the cylinders could be transported to a refilling centre. If the company prefers, the refilling can be completed on site instead.
