Doosan's forklift history
Korea’s original home-based lift truck market was an open-import enterprise. In the 1960’s, Korea Machinery Co. Ltd. begun to import assembled forklifts as part of a national machinery expansion venture. Initial product sales of this manufacturing equipment focused on large business groups, the armed services and on state-run corporations. This eventually led to a merger with Daewoo Heavy Industries Ltd. In 1976, the Forklift Division commenced business operations throughout Korea to overhaul and sell this heavy equipment. By 1978, a forklift production plant was successfully completed. Continuous technical training became the new focus for enhancing quality and product development.
Propane lift truck efficiency is pretty remarkable for the reason that the cylinders containing propane can simply be replaced and the equipment could get back to work without losing much "downtime".
